¡Release baby sea turtles! Visit one of the turtle camps in the area, which has the task of preserving one of the three sea turtle species that arrive at Guerrero state coasts. The journey continues southeast all the way to Barra Vieja (Old Strip) to take a boat tour to travel through the mangroves and learn about its vegetation and wildlife.

 

Ride a boat ride along the “Tres Palos Lagoon”, a freshwater lagoon where the white mangrove predominates and flows into the Pacific Ocean as a sand bar. The lagoon is home to different tropical birds such as Herons and Ducks of different species, Pelicans, Storks and diverse vegetation such as Palm Trees, Guamúchil, Oaks, Tamarind and Mango.

 

Before going back to land do not forget to try a unique beauty treatment with black clay, the main characteristic of the lagoons in this region with exfoliation and skin-regeneration properties.
